Water Quality: Strong filtration and active protein skimming are essential. Maintain temperature at 22-28°C, pH 8.1-8.4, salinity SG 1.020-1.025.
Compatibility and Cohabitation: Not reef-safe. Will eat crustaceans, snails, urchins, and corals. Combine only with larger, robust species.
Aquarium Breeding: Not bred in home aquaria. Guards benthic nests on sandy substrates in the wild.
Risks and Diseases: Very hardy. High jumping risk. Protect all exposed wires and heaters from its strong teeth.
