Sphaerodactylus argus

The 'Ocellated Gecko'. Another member of the sphaerodactyl nano-gecko family. Splendidly dotted with hundreds of microscopic white ocelli on a reddish background, this diurnal gecko is a creature of the humid undergrowth. Given its ridiculous size (1.5 inches), it suffers from lethal dehydration in a few hours.

Description
