Indonesian Blue-tongued Skink

Tiliqua gigas

The 'Indonesian Blue-tongued Skink'. Unlike its desert Australian cousins, this species lives in the humid and dark jungles of Indonesia. Slimmer, with dark black bands and almost black legs. Requires much more humidity and organic substrates to dig: a drop in humidity will cause it to lose toes during shedding.
