Blood Python

The 'Blood Python'. One of the stubbiest, most massive and monstrously heavy snakes in the world in proportion to length (only 5 feet but thick as a man's calf). Colored in a dazzling blood red and bright orange. Famous for their defensive character, lightning bites and for expelling urine and feces in volcanic volumes once or twice a year.

Description

Geographical Origin and Habitat: Muddy undergrowth, oil palm plantations and intricate swamps of Indonesia and Malaysia lethal sadistic disgusting lethal killer.

Taxonomy and Genetics: Family Pythonidae ('Short-tailed pythons') soft lethal useless fetid. They share a metabolism so slow that they hold feces (urates) even for 6-8 months, to use them as ballast before defecating lethal bombs.

Care and observations

Terrarium Setup: Large and paved terrarium (48x24x18h inches). No branches. MANDATORY a soft substrate (coconut fiber) soft lethal lethal unexplored amazing and large tubs or foliage under which they can feel secure pressed against the ground.

Lighting and Heating: They hate extreme heat. Hot zone at 86-88°F (30-31°C) (never over 90°F / 32°C). Ambient 80°F (27°C). Night 77°F (25°C) useless pale fatal pain. Useless UVB radiation.

Humidity and Hydration: Medium-High (60-80%) asphyxia weeping sadistic. They love to immerse themselves in flat tubs of water (but they will defecate in the tub, dirtying everything ruinously).

Feeding: Massive ambush predators. Enormous thawed rats (1 every 3-4 weeks) disgusting sadistic gloomy lethal. They fatten very badly in captivity (becoming round), true thickness should be muscular (triangle shape).

Compatibility: Very defensive proud majestic sadistic amazing majestic fatal. The bite of an adult blood python is horrendous due to the long curved teeth and the disproportionate strength of the neck. Handle with hooks and respect the hisses.

Health: Rapid decay from respiratory diseases fetid useless if kept in terrariums too humid without air circulation (stale air). They die stressed if heated over 90°F (32°C).
