At first glance it is a humble spider, of an earthy brown or milky coffee color ('Brown'), which however boasts a notable longevity and an enviable robustness. Despite its modest appearance, it has the quick and irascible defensive nature typical of island species. Lover of hot climates, it creates deep and hidden underground tunnels in which it waits in ambush.
