Trinidad Olive Tarantula (Neoholothele incei)
Neoholothele incei
The Neoholothele incei, (formerly Holothele incei), adored as 'Trinidad Olive Tarantula'. It is a dwarf or small-sized tarantula (2.3-3.1 inches legspan) famous worldwide for its intricate webs, its insatiable voracity and its golden olive green color. There is also commercially a magnificent mutated and recessive form, the 'Gold' form, completely bright orange/gold. It is one of the very few tolerant South American tarantulas that, if satiated, can be kept in spectacular communal setups (Communals). Very fast and equipped with microscopic urticating hairs, it is an exceptionally resistant creature for those who want to admire huge structures of silky web in small terrariums.
