Care, breeding and tankmates
Terrarium Setup: They demand abundant horizontal space. An adult requires a minimum desert terrarium of 48x24x24 inches (120x60x60h cm). The ideal substrate is calcareous desert sand mixed with clay, so they do not sink. Large sturdy branches and rocky platforms (basking spots) must be placed right under the heat light.
