Care, breeding and tankmates
Terrarium Setup: Paludarium setup of at least 400 liters, featuring a deep swimming section and a dry land area with easy access.
Lighting and Heating: Keep water temperature at 10.0-28.0°C. Provide a land basking spot at 30.0°C. UVB light is essential.
Humidity and Hydration: Maintain air humidity around 60-80%. Clean water is paramount; use a high-powered filter for waste extraction.
Feeding and Supplementation: Highly carnivorous diet consisting of live insects, worms, and small fish. Dust food with calcium twice a week.
