The SunSun CUV-155 55W inline UV-C clarifier is a highly efficient biological sterilizer designed to sustain crystal-clear and healthy water conditions in aquariums and garden ponds up to 1500 liters. It operates by directing your water supply past a high-output 55W germicidal ultraviolet lamp. Featuring a specialized internal helix water flow configuration, it forces water into a spiral flow path around the protective quartz sleeve. This spiral path doubles the exposure time to germicidal UV-C light compared to conventional sterilizers. Consequently, it effectively destroys suspended single-celled algae (responsible for green water) and reduces pathogenic bacteria, viruses, and parasites without affecting the beneficial filter bacteria.
