Oase

OASE begins its history in 1949 with August Wübker Söhne OHG, an agricultural-machinery repair workshop. The business progressively moved into pumps, fountains and water technology, creating an industrial continuity that predates the current OASE GmbH name.

The portfolio covers filters, pumps, aeration, lighting and management for aquariums and ponds, together with fountains, drainage, irrigation and professional systems for large bodies of water. Shared competencies include circulation, filtration, oxygenation and the design of aquatic environments.

OASE is headquartered in Hörstel, Germany. Expansion has included acquisitions such as Eden, biOrb, Atlantic Water Gardens and Söll, adding aquariums, design, treatment and regional markets. The official history uses the predecessor workshop’s name but does not isolate a single person as founder of the present group. Combining consumer and professional lines lets the group work at scales ranging from small aquariums to public fountains.
