Active Ingredient: Ethacridine lactate, Copper 2+, Methyl orange, Proflavine
eSHa 2000 is a widely trusted, broad-spectrum disinfectant and therapeutic agent formulated in Europe. It is designed to target a wide range of bacterial, fungal, and parasitic infections in freshwater aquariums. Its multi-ingredient synergistic formula targets pathogens at various stages of their development while preventing the built-up of drug resistance.
Indications
- Fungal Infections: Treats primary and secondary fungal infections (such as Saprolegnia woolly growth).
- Bacterial Infections: Targets fin rot, tail rot, mouth fungus, dropsy (early stages), and body sores.
- Parasitic Infections: Controls external protozoans like Oodinium (Velvet), skin/gill flukes, and protozoan slime.
Dosage & Application
- Standard 3-Day Course:
- Day 1: 25 drops per 100 liters (approx. 26 US gallons).
- Day 2: 12 drops per 100 liters.
- Day 3: 12 drops per 100 liters.
- Severe Infections/Emergency: The dosage on Day 2 and Day 3 can be increased to 20-25 drops per 100 liters, or the treatment can be extended to 4-5 days.
Safety Notes
- Contains Copper: Extremely toxic to snails, shrimps, crabs, and other invertebrates. Remove all invertebrates from the aquarium before dosing.
- Remove active carbon, Purigen, and turn off UV sterilizers/Ozone generators during treatment, as they deactivate the medication.
- Generally safe for biological filters and live plants when used at the recommended dosage.
