Aqua Nova NUVC-9 9W is a 9W submersible UV-C sterilizer and clarifier designed for medium-sized aquariums. The unit operates independently thanks to a built-in powerhead pump that draws water into the filter body, exposing it to the radiation of a 9W UV-C lamp shielded by a protective sleeve made of pure quartz crystal. This exposure quickly eliminates green water issues by destroying suspended algae and lowers the count of harmful pathogens, limiting the spread of fish diseases. The fully submersible design allows for direct vertical or horizontal placement in the tank or sump, removing the need for complex external plumbing or hoses.
