Aqua Nova NUVC-7 7W is a compact submersible UV-C clarifier and sterilizer designed to safely and quickly remove suspended algae, pathogenic bacteria, spores, and fungi from aquarium water. This submersible model functions using a built-in internal powerhead pump that draws water and passes it around a 7W UV-C lamp protected by a high-transmittance quartz glass sleeve. The UV treatment breaks down the DNA of single-celled organisms, curing green water issues and reducing the risk of fish infections without altering water chemistry. As a fully self-contained, submersible unit, it requires no external plumbing and can be placed directly inside the display tank or sump.
