Dymax

Dymax is a Singapore brand created by John and Lilian, a married team of aquarists and entrepreneurs. The legal company Adec Aquarium Supplies Pte. Ltd. was incorporated on 3 December 2003; John began in aquarium-supplies distribution and later opened a factory in China to build his own configurations. The company date does not by itself establish the later debut of the DYMAX brand, which the official history does not date precisely.

The catalogue includes IQ tanks and complete systems, LED lighting, pumps, filters, protein skimmers, dosers, sterilizers, cooling, water treatment, food and accessories. The IQ Series helped establish Dymax through compact aquariums in which tank form and equipment are designed together. The range later expanded across marine, freshwater and nano applications, supported by spare parts and standalone equipment.

The company story assigns John a direct role in industrial design, electrical circuits, quality control and assembly, supported by his electrical-engineering background. Lilian is presented beside him as a creator of the brand and partner in the business. The operating structure combines design in Singapore with manufacturing in China, maintaining the identity of a product-led manufacturer rather than a simple importer. Headquarters remain in Singapore's Changi district.
