COLLAR Company began in Ukraine in 1995 when Yuriy Sinitsa designed a leather collar for his own dog. From a three-person team working in an apartment, it developed into a manufacturer with hundreds of employees and international distribution. The company is based in Chernihiv and operates across numerous pet categories; aquatics form a specific technology division within that wider portfolio.

For aquariums, COLLAR developed AquaLighter illumination, aPUMP air compressors, tanks and related accessories. AquaLighter covers fixtures for freshwater, marine and plant-growing applications, together with controllers and mounts. aPUMP integrates pump, membrane and acoustic isolation in compact bodies intended for aerating small and medium tanks. These families sit beside ranges for dogs, cats and other animals rather than making COLLAR an aquarium-only brand.

The business places strong emphasis on product development and protection of designs and inventions, with international patents cited in its catalogues. Growth has been organized through distinct in-house brands including WAUDOG, PULLER, AiryVest, AquaLighter and aPUMP. In aquatics, its most recognizable contribution is compact product design applied to light and aeration, while manufacturing, logistics and corporate identity remain part of the Ukrainian group founded by Sinitsa.
