Aquatlantis

Aquatlantis is a Portuguese manufacturer established in 1996 in Guimarães by José Pereira and his three children. Pereira had worked in the pet sector since 1966 and brought that experience into the new family company. The business now operates as AQUATLANTIS – Produtos para Animais Domésticos, S.A. from Lordelo, where the second generation has continued its industrial and commercial development.

The range includes complete aquariums, matching cabinets, terrariums, internal filters, replacement parts, LED lighting and consumables. Alongside domestic products, the company produces displays and installations for retailers, work involving multi-tank structures, support furniture and water circulation. Recent families use integrated systems in which the enclosure, light and filtration are designed as a coordinated package.

Production combines glass processing, plastic components, furniture and electrical elements, allowing Aquatlantis to control much of the finished system. The brand sells through distributors and specialist retailers and has built an export presence while keeping its production center in northern Portugal. Continuity of the Pereira family and the shopfitting division distinguish Aquatlantis from brands limited to importing separate tanks or accessories.
