2Hr Aquarist

2Hr Aquarist is a planted-aquarium project incorporated in Singapore in 2019 as 2Hr Aquarist Pte. Ltd. It grew from the editorial and experimental work published through Advanced Planted Tank and from the practice of co-founder Dennis Wong. The project turned years of documentation on plant growth, pruning and tank stability into a business combining education with specialist products.

The business pairs technical content with the APT product line. Its range covers fertilizers for different nutrient-management regimes, substrates, water-care products and treatments aimed at recurring planted-tank problems. The brand's guides discuss lighting, CO2 supply, nutrition, pruning and biological stability as parts of one management method rather than as isolated interventions.

The brand remains focused on planted aquariums instead of attempting to cover every hardware category. Formulations are presented alongside photography, growth journals and instructions that connect dosing with conditions in the aquarium. The Singapore base coordinates an international audience reached through the educational site and APT distribution. This close relationship between content, practical experimentation and consumable products is what distinguishes 2Hr Aquarist within the aquascaping sector.
