The Armadillidium vulgare 'Magic Potion'. It is perhaps the most famous and commercialized European isopod mutation in the world. Derived from the common gray garden woodlouse, the 'Magic Potion' is an animal (0.6-0.7 inches) affected by partial leucism: it has a thick, smooth and perfectly rolling blinding translucent white armor, dotted with chaotic spots of ink black and bright sun yellow. Robust, extremely prolific and a lover of temperate-dry heat, it is the ideal bioactive jewel for novices.
