Dalmatian Tortoise

Testudo hermanni hercegovinensis

The 'Dalmatian Tortoise'. The least known and rarest subspecies of the Hermann's, coming from the rocky coasts of Dalmatia. Very small and compact dimensions, similar to the western variant but with anatomical differences in the inguinal scales (which are often totally missing). Resilient and extremely active.

Description

Geographical Origin and Habitat: Calcareous rocky coasts, dry woods and shrublands of Croatia and Montenegro lethal sadistic disgusting lethal killer.
